| by Michael Rumney I loved the scene in FROM HERE TO ETERNITY when Ernest Borgnine gets hit over the head with a chair by Frank Sinatra. He was also great in CONVOY when he picks on the truckers at the diner ("anybody know who the father is ?"). THE POSEIDON ADVENTURE is great because of him too ("Hey you wanna watch your mouth preacher. Sounds like you come from the slums or something.) And I agree with Ed, Borgnine is not 5'7''. | by Ed Borgnine is not 5'-7". He'a at the very least 5'-10". I know this for a fact since I've met him on two different occassions. I think he's one of the very best character actors to ever appear in movies. Comment on this... |
