In the late 1960s I was given free tickets to go and see a new musical based on Charles Dickens's Tale of Two Cities. Until that moment I had no idea that Edward Woodward had such a terrific singing voice. As well as an accomplished actor he is also a beautiful singer but this fact is rarely commented upon
