Her first television role was on the Series The Hogan Family , which was followed by guest appearances on Quantum Leap , Parker Lewis Can't Lose and Doogie Howser, M.D. More recently, she starred in the made-for-television films Dare to Love , Baby Monitor: Sound of Fear , Danielle Steele's Secrets and the upcoming The Sky's on Fire .

Bissett made her feature film debut in Oliver Stone's The Doors , as the wife of guitarist Robbie Krieger. Subsequent films include The Book of Love , Mikey and All-American Murder .

She has served as the spokesperson for Lee Jean's Breast Cancer Awareness fundraising and education campaign, in addition to opening a ceramic arts and crafts studio with her sister and brother-in-law in Seattle.
