By chance, I picked up a rental copy of St. Ives a few weeks ago. It was love at first sight. If there was ever a perfect movie for the romantic, this is it. For someone who watches a movie once, maybe twice - it is unusual that I have now purchased the dvd and watched it perhaps 10 times - and have not yet had my fill. Jean Marc Barr in my opinion will be remembered for this movie - if anyone ever hears of it and sees it. I've only seen a couple of his other films - but this movie is a classic - simple perfection in casting - music - romance - location - writing. Warning - you will probably fall in love with Jean Marc's handsome looks & "French" manner - and his irresistible "French chocolate" voice.

Your description perfectly fit to me
but after other of his films Big Blue
I can barely immagine it will hapend more with me ofter his other films.
In my 30 its a bit stupid.. )
