William Atherton

William Atherton has appeared in over twenty films, in a career spanning nearly three decades. Appearing in films ranging from Looking for Mr. Goodbar to Ghostbusters, Atherton has demonstrated an uncanny versatility, although he is probably most remembered for his inspired performances as villains, particularly in the Die Hard films. More recently, William Atherton has been seen in the HBO movie Introducing Dorothy Dandridge, with star Halle Berry.

Other film credits include Mad City, Executive Power, Bio-Dome, The Pelican Brief, Oscar, Real Geniuses and The Hindenburg. Atherton has also worked extensively in television, appearing in such popular shows as The Practice, Nash Bridges, Tales from the Crypt, Murder, She Wrote, The Equalizer and The Twilight Zone.
