Completely terrifying, The Wickerman is a must see. I saw this movie last weekend and found the movie a lot better than expected. Nicholas Cage performed magnificently to pull off a sick twist.

Unlike the original movie that took place on a remote mysterious Scottish island, this movie brought to life a sheltered community in the Puget Sound off the Washington coast.

Based on old 70’s flick, a story written by Anthony Shaffer, Neil LaBute (producer) brought this horror to big screen with a thrilling 21st century rollercoaster bang.

Here’s a quick synopsis: The main character goes on a journey to investigate the disappearance of a young girl. He discovers that the locals are weird and unhelpful, and becomes determined to get to the bottom of the disappearance.

Loved it.

Cage Fan (Sun Sep 3, 2006 10:03am ET)report post

Nicolas Cage is one of my favourite actors. He chooses his roles so well because he goes in different directions. My favourite Cage role is in "Adaptation". He was great in that and the film is just a masterpiece. Cage made me cry in "Birdy" at the end and he was only 18 at the time. "The Rock" is still one of my favourite actioners of all time.
On to his acting skills, I like how he channels his character but puts a bit of Nicolas Cage into each role. He has this own 'thing' in acting which is what I love about him. What I don't understand is he always co-stars with sexy ladies he later hooks up in his films like Diane Lane, Bridget Fonda, Cher(40's), Monica Potter, Laura Dern, Diane Kruger & Deb Foreman. His a lucky guy.

Dear Mr.Cage, I look up to you so much you are an amazingly versatile actor I aspire to be like you. I myself love to act and enjoy the stage, I can olny dream to be as well established as you are! You're a great role modle for young aspiring actors, thank you so much.
Sincerly, Josie

This movie sounds so cute. It looks like one of those pixary types of movies. The voices are Julia Roberts, Nicholas Cage and Meryl Steep. This is sure to be a hit.

Here's a quick synopsis:
Plot Summary: From Academy Award nominated filmmaker John A. Davis ("Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius") and producers Tom Hanks and Gary Goetzman ("The Polar Express"), "The Ant Bully" tells a witty and heartwarming story about a 10-year-old boy who embarks on a remarkable journey. New in town, friendless and tormented by a neighborhood bully, young Lucas Nickle has been taking out his frustration on the innocent ant hill in his yard. But one day the ants retaliate. Using a magic potion, they shrink Lucas down to ant size and sentence him to live like an ant in their colony. In this strange new world Lucas will learn important lessons about friendship, get a whole new perspective on life and ultimately find the courage to stand up for himself.
