| by patti giebel Although three of her movies really stand out: The Women, Mildred Pierce, and of course, Whatever Happened to Baby Jane; I think she really showed her true personality in a 60's film called: I Know Who You Are and I Saw What You Did. It was not your typical horror film and Miss Crawford was quite chilling in it. Her best role was probably that of a "dutiful" mother, where she was able to shine for decades until the truth finally came out. Thank you Christina Crawford for letting the public in on her dirty little secret. Comment on this... |

| by JB Joan Crawford was exposed as she should have been. No child should ever have to go through what Joan's daughter, Christina went through. For someone to make an "icon" out of a child abuser (no matter how small or great the abuse) is a sad person indeed. It's amazing how we will praise a sick woman like Joan Crawford in her death, yet have utter disdain for those "sicko's" in prison who are their for abuse. Simply mind boggling society. | by Barbara Field Joan Crawford was a Hollywood icon and a fine actress. I thought it was in poor taste what Christina wrote about her. Joan worked very hard and gave her everything she could. Christina clearly did not respect or appreciate what Joan sacrificed for her. Joan had her ups and downs like all of us, but she still raised Christina to the best of her ability! Joan will always remain a real star on and off the screen. I always admired her ambition, beauty, and acting. Joan had human frailities like we all have, but she will always be the epitome of Hollywood glamour and a great humanitarian. Comment on this... |
