Featuring in the UK's current box office smash Bend It Like Beckham, Jonathan Rhys-Meyers has appeared in over 20 film and TV projects, earning critical accolades since he burst onto the acting scene in 1994 in Sony Pictures Classics' A Man of No Importance.
The young Irishman landed his first title role in The Disappearance of Finbar, just two years later, and has since amassed an enviable list of credits that includes Todd Hayne's glam-rock saga, Velvet Goldmine; which premiered at Cannes in 1998, The Governess with Minnie Driver, Titus with Anthony Hopkins and Jessica Lange, Prozac Nation, with Christina Ricci, and The Magnificent Amberson's, with Madeleine Stowe.
