Linden Ashby
Movie audiences will recognize
Linden Ashby for his role as Johnny Cage in the action film
Mortal Kombat. His additional big screen credits include the role of
Kevin Costner's brother in
Wyatt Earp, and starring roles in
Into the Sun and
8 Seconds. Ashby studied acting at the Neighborhood Theatre in New York under Sanford Meisner and has accumulated an impressive list of theatrical credits including
The Sorrow of Fredericks,
Rags to Reubens,
Three-Handed Hearts as well as the off-Broadway productions of
Hunchback of Notre Dame and
Mostly Because It's Raining. He has also starred in several plays directed by
Joanne Woodward, including
Battle for New Orleans,
Waiting for Lefty,
Echoes and
Nuptial Song. Ashby starred in the cable movie,
15th Phase of the Moon, as has numerous television credits including
China Beach,
Equal Justice and the mini-series
Poor Little Rich Girl. In
Spy Game, Ashby performs most of his own stunts.
