Paige Turco
In film, Paige Turco will soon enter production on HBO Films' Taking Chance, opposite Kevin Bacon, and she recently completed production on Disney's The Game Plan, with The Rock and Kyra Sedgwick. She was last seen in the 2006 Disney football drama Invincible, the true story in which she played Carole Vermeil wife of Philadelphia Eagles legendary coach Dick Vermeil, played by Greg Kinnear. Additional work in films includes Rhinoceros Eyes, The Pompatus of Love, the Sundance film Urbania, opposite Dan Futterman and Alan Cummings, and the independent film Dead Dog, opposite Jeremy Sisto. Turco also starred as April O'Neil in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles films.
Turco is most memorable for her roles on NYPD Blue, in which she portrayed a pregnant lesbian named Abby Sullivan, and on Party of Five, in which she played Scott Wolf's alcoholic, single mother girlfriend, Abbie Mott. She also had an unforgettable role in the pilot for Anne and Arnold Koppelson's action/drama, The Fugitive, and recently starred in The Agency.
Born in Springfield, Massachusetts, Turco graduated from the University of Connecticut with a degree in Drama. She studied Ballet, and performed as a soloist with the New England Dance Conservatory, The Amherst Ballet Theater Company and the Western Massachusetts Ballet Company, before an ankle injury forced a change in direction into acting and musicals.
