| by Jerry I saw the San Jose, Ca, production of Tony and Tina's Wedding several years before The Sopranoes and remember Michael, or someone who looked a lot like him, playing the lead role of Tony. Can't find this off-broadway production in his credits or the IMDB. Anyone know if he did a stint as Tony? Comment on this... |

| by Brandon Leviton If a genie popped out of a bottle and told me I could play a character for a day, I would definitely pick Christopher Moltisanti. Michael's ability to bring this character to life, and to excite his audience at every turn, is every bit as impressive to me as Gandolphinni's portrayal of Tony himself. The acting in the series, top-to-bottom, is superb, but the reason I tune in religiously is because of Michael's performance. My favorite scenes are when Christopher has the audacity to lash out at his superiors. I have been waiting for him to sock Tony in the mouth, which he could probably get away with given Tony's love and trust in him. Comment on this... |
