| by don bugante This guy is a tremendous actor. From Empire of the sun to american psyco and batman. But his best performance to date has to be the machinist, this role stretched him physically and emotionally and he had to lose so much weight to get down to like 7 stone!!! Compare this to his pump in batman, that takes some doing, not many actors would go to such lenghts for a role in holywood!! Comment on this... |

| by Electric Mistress OMG, Christian Bale is fabulous! I just switched in tv when Equilibrium was on. I missed the first half so I boroughed that film and American Psycho. I never had a favourite actor, they were all boring to me. But Bale is perfect for the roles of John Preston and Patrick Bateman. His serious mimics fit in perfectly! I am fascinated!
