Sybil Temchen

Sybil Temchen was last seen opposite Helen Mirren in the Academy award-winning Showtime Original feature The Passion of Ayn Rand, as the starry-eyed ingenue whose romantic endeavors thwart the celebrated author-philosopher's affair with a protégé. The film, which premiered at this year's Sundance Film Festival, also stars Peter Fonda, Julie Delpy and Eric Stoltz.

Temchen's other credits include the indie film Floating with Norman Reedus, as well as the feature Ten Benny, which tells the story of a waitress stuck in a dead-end relationship with a smooth but luckless gambler, played by Adrian Brody.

Temchen will soon be seen co-starring with Brody again in Restaurant, a film that takes an unflinching look at the lives of young dreamers toiling in a busy Hoboken eatery. Restaurant is set to be released on October 15th.

Recently, Temchen wrapped the indie Kat & Allison are Having a Bad Week. Also starring Jamie Gertz and Marissa Ribisi, Temchen stars as Allison, a young professional whose life is turned upside down when an old friend stumbles back into her life. Kat & Allison will be released next year.
