Nicholas Lea

Nicholas Lea is best known for his portrayal of the heroic villain Alex Krycek on The X Files for seven seasons. He is currently starring in the new TNT series, Bull.

Lea was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. He attended art school, intending to be an illustrator. He trained as an actor at the Beverly Hills Playhouse, Charles Conrad Studios and Gastown Actor's Studio. He is also a musician, having performed as lead singer with an alternative rock band for five years in the 1980s.

His first big television role was Ricky Caruso, which he played for three years on The Commish. He also had roles on the television shows John Woo's Once a Thief, Highlander, The Outer Limits, Sliders and Lonesome Dove.

His most recent TV film was the lead role in Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye," for Fox Television.
