Gary Johnson
He had a recurring role on the sitcom In Case of Emergency, opposite David Arquette, and after receiving a personal invite from Ashton Kutcher, joined the cast of MTV's hit show Punk'd for one season. He has had recurring and guest starring roles on several shows, including Half & Half, All That, Girlfriends, The Game, Love Inc. and All Of Us. On BET, he appeared on the network's original series Comic View and Comin to the Stage (seasons 1 & 2) as well as had his very own one-hour network special in 2006. Other television credits include a dramatic turn on The Shield.
Recently, he made his mark in radio as a regular on the 100.3 The Beat's Tom Joyner radio show in the mornings in Los Angeles. This show is syndicated nationally to over eight million listeners. He also released I Got Problems, a comedy album distributed by Universal.
G-Thang is consistently booked for charity events by a host of celebrity fans including: Shaquille O'Neil, Will Smith, Nelly, Marshall Faulk, Tom Joyner and Javon Kearse to name a few. Most recently he lent his involvement to a Hurricane Katrina fundraiser in New Orleans.
He currently resides in Los Angeles.
