Help for parkinsons (Sat Jul 7, 2007 11:18am ET)report post
by Angela Chang
This is no joke Michael, I know a doctor who can help you alleviate the shakes you have with Parkinsons. He has helped many people with parkinsons, lupus, chronic pain etc. HE IS AMAZING IN HIS METHODS. If you are interested and want more info email me. (There is nothing in it for me by the way other than my lifelong practice of helping people) and if there is anyone else out there who wants info on this please write.
Peace and compassion to all.

Thanks for the t.v. show Family Ties. You were so great in it. I hope all that you want to happen in the way of a cure goes great.

You are so cute also. I have a son your age and believe me he is so similar to you. Very self assured and quite funny also. he has made a great success of himself and is a very hyper person also. take care and may the best come to you and your family

Michael, I once read you would like to do Yankee Doodle Dandee. That is my favorite movie and I am still waiting to see you play James Cagney's part on the stage.
You can't be done yet with plays. Please, the show must go on!!!

Thank you for the 2 million (Sun Sep 17, 2006 7:44pm ET)report post
by Suzie Q. Smith
If you are reading this posting, Michael, I just wanted to say a very heart felt thank you. I just read recently that part of the 2 million dollars that you donated for research in 2003 was specifically for the research of Dyskinesia.
I have battled a very specific type of Dyskinesia, (Paroxymal Dykinesias which consists of a family of four subtypes of nasty stepsisters - Paroxymal Kinesigenic Dyskinesia, Paroxysmal Non-Kinesigenic Dyskinesia, Paroxymal Exertion Induced Dyskinesia and Paroxymsal Hypogenic Dyskinesia - of which I have the wonderful advantage of having all four types -_-!
Anyway, I am writing this posting to say that I did not realize that the 2 million that you had donated in 2003 was to go for research into Dyskinesia - but I know now and I wanted to say a HUGE - THANKS A BUNCH - from myself and all the rest of us "Shakey Cheesers" for donated that huge amount of money for research into trying to find out more about Dyskinesia and, if possible, trying to find a cure.
You know, this may be a just a fluke thing but It seems to me that since 2003, and in the last 10 years, there have been many advances being made, real true ones, in trying to finish this rubix cube of a puzzle - of different types of Dyskinesias (mine are paroxymal, which mean they come on suddenly and sharply, these involuntary movements, so it's sort of like having Parkinson's, but just some times, like having attacks of Parkinsons, but only when you exert yourself at all, or sleep or any sudden movement brings it on - even as simple as the cat rubbing it's tail up against your leg and sometimes, they just come on spontaneously - but hey, as you so eloquently put it - "Life is Great- sometimes you just have to put up with a little extra crap!
-_-! But besides not being able to touch anyone or anything or do anything or be near anyone and sometimes, even when you are still doing nothing, they hit - but hey - besides all that - life really is great - this shaking business is more of an annoying technicallity than anything -but I guess what I am trying to say, as I babble on, is thank you so very much - for donating that money for research - for Dyskinesia -

and the real reason that I wanted to post this message is that you were great in "Back to the Future" like I am sure that you have heard a million times, but I personally think that you were best in "Doc Hollywood" because I am pretty sure that had Parkinsons while doing that movie and when I watch that movie, I think - Hey, if he can do huge movie with Parkinsons, then I think I will be able to make it through this next "Shakey Cheese attack"! I know that sounds corny but Wow, your such an inspiration!! Can I lay it on any thicker!! We PKD'ers love you, Man!! -_-
And seriously, thanks - the money is truely appreciated and your movies are, well, comforting to watch - OK - time to end the sappieness- alert the gooey sweet police!!

Take Care!

Cheers~
