Shannon Elizabeth
Shannon can soon be seen as a contestant on Season Six of ABC's hit show Dancing With The Stars. She has also recently filmed the improvisational comedy The Grand, opposite Woody Harrelson.
Shannon's other film credits include the independent drama The Kid and I, the 20th Century Fox comedy Johnson Family, the Wes Craven thriller Cursed, the Richard Curtis film Love, Actually, the remake of William Castle's 1960 thriller Thirteen Ghost, and the Kevin Smith comedy Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. She also starred in American Pie II, the highly anticipated sequel to the box-office smash hit, American Pie.
In her short career thus far, Shannon was awarded the prestigious Female Star of Tomorrow Award at ShoWest in Las Vegas and was also given the Female Breakthrough Performer of the Year award at the Hollywood Film Festival Gala Ceremony in 2001.
Aside from her talents on screen, Shannon has become an avid poker player. She recently came in 3rd place in NBC's National Heads Up Tournament and won the first ever New Years tournament at Caesars Palace poker room.
Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Shannon's diverse background and supportive family have motivated her to pursue her love of performing. Growing up, she studied music and dance, and in high school she was an avid tennis player, briefly considering going pro. After graduating, Shannon decided to pursue acting and modeling. When she's not busy acting, Shannon, a co-founder of Animal Avengers, donates her time to the non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing and placing homeless pets.
