PAPA STEVIE HAS BEEN INSIPIRED BY THE LATE PAPA RAY CHARLES AND THE LATE PAPA MARVIN GAYE. IT WAS PAPA STEVIE THAT FOUGHT TO HAVE A MARTIN LUTHER KING HOLIDAY, NOT ONLY WITH HIS 1982 HAPPY BIRTHDAY HIT, BUT AFRIKANS THAT HAVE BEEN IN THE CIVIL RIGHTS STRUGGLE SINCE HISTORY. PAPA STEVIE HAS ALSO FOUGHT AGAINST POVERTY, AIDS, APARTHEID IN SOUTH AFRICA, WAR AND RACIAL OPPRESSION AGAINST AFRIKANS GLOBALLY. | by john herbst Hello. I am from Saginaw, Michigan USA. Believe me, Stevie is from here -- one of our favorite sons (and, besides, there IS no Saginaw, Mississippi). | by Elizabeth The biography you wrote had the incorrect birth place of Stevie Wonder. He was born in Saginaw, Michigan. Not Mississippi. I have looked up this info on other sites and I have found this to be wrong. i hope you will change this because other than this wrong info I have found this to be a very good site.
