| by Blayne Tom, your music has sometimes been the only thing that keeps me going in this crazy, yet sometimes wonderful world. Your dry humor, making fun of reality, sarcasm, joy, etc. is what makes you the main man in my life. I sang "Goodnight Baby" to my children when they were little. Then 18 years later cried in my beer to "Echo" after my divorce. Somehow your music makes me feel strong within myself as though I can be and do anything. You probably don't realize the power of your music, but it's very far reaching. I saw you at the Gorge in George Washington for the first time and when you sang "Free Girl Now" that was when I decided my marriage was over. I've been divorced for 10 years and have finally been able to be myself. Thank you, Tom. I love your music and I love it that you slept in my treehouse and your middle name is Earl. With all the love a fan can give, Blayne Comment on this... |
