| by Lee A. Smith Next year, in 2007, this beautiful and talented actress will have been been "in the business" for an astounding 50 years! And she still is as elegant, classy, and beautiful as ever. (Can you tell I'm a fan?) No, she doesn't have the same beauty that she had in 1957 at the beginning of her career, but has a more mature beauty that is equally as fascinating in a different way. She has worked with some of the world's best film directors and her talent and beauty have graced an amazing variety of roles and films. Just look at some of the films in this woman's filmography: The Um- brellas of Cherbourg, Vice and Virtue, Male Hunt, Repulsion, Benjamin, Belle de Jour, Manon, The April Fools, Mississippi Mermaid, Donkey Skin, The Slightly Pregnant Man, Hustle, The Last Metro, The Hunger, Indochine, Dancer in the Dark to name a few. I look forward to her next fifty years of work! Iwould like to see a lovely cloth bound book richly detailing her film career, with pictures of her (and her co-stars) from each of her films. Some of her earlier (and a few of her later) films are somewhat obscure and are rarely seen these days. I would love to see a comprehensive reference book printed on all of her films. What do you people think about this? What are your favorite films of hers? Comment on this... |

| by niko les voleurs is one of my fav films, because deneuve appears as someone who falls for one of her students a young girl.in france, the film was a lot talked about and considered as risque for deneuve who brilliantly defended the film directed by her friend and confident andre techine.the film was a success, and revealed laurence cotte,as a promissing actress.
