A leading French actress of screen and stage, Nathalie Richard
previously worked with Merchant Ivory in A SOLDIER'S DAUGHTER NEVER CRIES. She began her career as a dancer, and created Karol Armitage's DRASTIC CLASSICISM in New York. Back in Paris, she studied the dramatic arts at the Conservatoire. She is now sharing her time between theater and cinema. On stage, she has taken roles in works by Tourgueniev, Shakespeare and Büchner and also directed a play at the Chaillot National Theatre last year. In cinema, she has worked with directors Jacques Rivette
(LA BANDE DES QUATRE, UP/DOWN/FRAGILE), Olivier Assayas
