I have seen Ms. Revere in such films as Gentleman's Agreement and A Place in the Sun. She intrigued me because her roles were always as the strong woman. She was not beautiful or even pretty, just strong, compassionate and real. She seemed to disappear from films. After reading her Filmbug biography, I now know why. It is a pity because Hollywood and the film audience during her time and in the future lost a good actor.
