Diana Quick was born in London, England. She was educated at Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford. While at Oxford, she was involved with the Oxford University Dramatic Society.
Quick is best known for her role as Julia in the television production of Brideshead Revisited. She is married to the actor Bill Nighy and they have one daughter, the actress Mary Nighy.
