Poor Jane...

You have made her a year older that she is. Born in 1928 indeed!!.

Her Birthday is April 1st 1929. And she is only 75.

I would like to contact Jane Powell Powell about to see if she remembers
a WWII War Bond Drive on the steps of te Oregon City, Oregon Court House steps. Aa
A little boy of 5 yrs. was asked nby two sailors to deliver notes asking her for a date. I was the little boy she kissed on the cheek. The two sailors gave me a nickel even tough they received negative replies.
Jane Powell has always been an important part of my life, and I hope she is doing well.
If she would ever like to cotact a lifetime
fan, she may do so by email or if she is ever up this way, by phoning 503-557-8557.
thank you.

What a voice! What a beauty! My favourite movie is undoubtedly "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers". A fantastic film full of wonderful songs, great performances and vivid colour. A MUST for any fan of MGM Musicals.
