Like a breath of fresh air, Susie Porter has beguiled critics and audiences alike since making her big-screen debut in the Nadia Tass directed feature, MR. RELIABLE.

Born and raised in Newcastle, Porter attended Sydney's prestigious National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) and has been inundated with work since graduating in the mid-nineties. Her lead role as a sexually and creatively frustrated wife in director Davida Allen's recent feature, FEELING SEXY, garnered Porter much critical acclaim. Other film credits include David Ceasar's IDIOT BOX, Bruce Beresford's PARADISE ROAD, WELCOME TO WOOP, WOOP, directed by Stephan Elliot and the Nadia Tass feature AMY. In 1998 she co-starred in writer/director Grigor Jordan's debut feature TWO HANDS, which stormed the AFI Awards the following year in nearly every major category. Porter has also appeared on television in BIG SKY, CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL, WILDSIDE, WATER RATS and AFTERSHOCKS. Prior to better than sex, Porter completed filming the lead role in director Samantha Lang's thriller, MONKEY'S MASK, co-starring Kelly McGillis. Additional feature credits include THE BOOTMEN, MULLET and STAR WARS: EPISODE II.
