I think the song your after Steve is River Deep Mountain High. The song from the film is I Don't Wanna Fight, but the orchestra thing probably means that its the first.

Celebrity on Web.Presently, she is behind Tori Amos but ahead of Ben Harper and Marvin Gaye … surprise ! Tina Turner act as Indian Goddess (Wed Feb 25, 2004 2:12am ET)report post
by kentman
I would like to comment Tina Turner for the role of an Indian goddess in the forthcoming movie "Goddess" to be filmed on location in India.

A bit of India's ancient history follows. When King Asoka converted to Buddhism, India sent buddhist missionaries to other parts of Asia. Today, the national flag of India bears a logo of Asoka's wheel. After King Asoka's death, buddhism gradually disappeared in India and India reverted to Hinduism. That is, India was Hindu, then became Buddhist, and then reverted to Hinduism again. I understand that Tina Turner is a devout Soka Gakkai Buddhist. I hope her new movie, "Goddess" would help to make Buddhism reappear in India. After all, India's national flag logo is from a Buddhist, King Asoka. (Please feel free to forward this email of mine to Tina Turner and the other producers/directors of the movie, THE GODDESS.)

i think tina turner is a true survivor. she survived through her years with ike and she is truely a soul survivor.she went through every obstacle to get where she is today. she could have given up when she left ike. but she stayed in the game and didn't let anyone else get in her way.she looks really good at her age too.she has nice legs and a strong voice she doesn't even look like she is in her late sixties!!!!!
