At age three, Brooke Shields made her first stroll down the catwalk; at eight she landed her first film role in the mystery Alice, Sweet Alice; and at twelve she became a household name portraying a pre-teen prostitute in Louis Malle's controversial feature, Pretty Baby. Born and raised in New York, Shields grew up in front of the camera as a child model and grew to become the Face of the Eighties, as proclaimed by Time on her cover photo for the magazine. After Pretty Baby, she went on to roles in Endless Love, Tilt, King of the Gypsies, which reunited her with Susan Sarandon, Wanda Nevada, with Henry and Peter Fonda, Just You and Me Kid with George Burns and The Muppets Take Manhattan.

She also starred in the mini-series, Nothing Lasts Forever and in an episode of HBO's Tales From The Crypt entitled Came from the Dawn.

Shields has recently completed roles in the Sundance favorite, The Misadventures of Margaret to be released by MGM and The Weekend co-starring with legendary actress Gena Rowlands. Shields appeared in New Line's The Bachelor, with Chris O'Donnell and Renee Zellweger.
