| by Laura I really enjoyed this novel. I have not seen the film, however, but I am intrigiued by this movie. The book presents a good, solid theme which I think is very important: take on life at your own pace, your own personal velocity. Each story exemplifies how women, particularily, should not rush into relationships, marriage, or any professions. One should instead take things as they come along. I felt this book is imperative for some young girls I know to read to remind them that they should have to rush into marriage just to simply be married. I think Rebecca Miller has really found her niche in writing and I cannot wait for her new movie, "Rose and the Snake" to be released. Comment on this... |
