by Frank Nagle I have only seen one Louis Malle movie to date. That movie is Au revoir, les enfants or Goodbye, Chrildren. It is a great movie that shows Nazi occupied France during WWII. It is so descriptive due to it being one of his childhood memories. It helps give people not involved in WWII or the Holocaust a better understanding about them both.

| by christine gilson I really want to see this film now! Ihave only seen lacombe, lucien which is about a poor boy who fell in with collaborators not through conviction but because he felt powerless and unwanted by anyone else. It was contraversial when released as it ruined the myth promoted by de gaulle- for reasons of french solidarity-that all frenchmen had been in the resistance it depicts the countryside in france as beautiful but harsh. Recommend you see it.
