Maybe this isn't the correct forum, but I think Mr. Vanhoeven underestimated Sharon Stone's entertainment factor. She's lost her steamy sexiness. The dreary ratings have nothing to do with the eroticism in the film. I saw it over the weekend and it was Awful. As a former fan of Ms. Stone's and a continued fan of Mr. Vanhoeven's work, I was greatly disappointed in the movie.

It's also the first film in the world to have 2 versions made at the same time, a normal version and a 3D version ( glasses needed )

It would take a master to create a screenplay that would bring out the same magic and intensity of the books. It it wa then certainly Dolph Ubique would be played by james earl jones. And as cringeworthy as it sounds, Tom Cruise to play Nick Succorso. I don't know about Angus. He is a different animal all together. @;>

the screen play would be critical. I think of some actors, to be in it ed norton, russell crowe, giovanni ribisi, scarlett johansen, charlze theron
