| by begoodtoall Wow! Bought the Book. It's Beautiful! And for such a great cause - the Grenada Hurricane Relief Fund. It appears to have published a while ago - but I'm sure the Island still needs some assistance - they were devastated by Hurricane Ivan a few years ago. Congrats to you Morgan Freeman - I like the fact that he not only demonstrates that he has cares for people but he followed that concern with positive, practical action for those in need! Excellent! | by SEFNY On Thursday, March 20th, the Shinnyo-en Foundation will be hosting an event to honor Oscar winners Morgan Freeman and Mira Sorvino for their service to society and their communities. They will be awarded as thanks for taking the time to promote peace through their good works. The award is in line with the Shinnyo-en Foundation’s Six Billion Paths to Peace initiative, launched because Shinnyo-en’s mission is to inspire people worldwide that the small selfless actions they take in their daily lives often times have a tremendous positive ripple effect that can bring greater harmony to the world. We’re looking for stories of personal paths to peace to be submitted at http://joinus.sixbillionpaths.org. We’re hoping that you will join the initiative, as Morgan Freeman has, and help make the world a more peaceful place. Comment on this... |

| by Mamie I recently viewed an episode of the Mary Tyler Moore show that aired sometime in the 70's. Episode involved not revealing news sources. The actor who portrayed counsel from the grand jury had the unmistakable voice and stature of Morgan Freeman. Can't locate any info to confirm his appearance. Any leads? Comment on this... |

| by William Barker I was watching a rerun on TV Shawshank Redemption and got into a discussion with the wife about Mr. Freeman. I was moved to look up Mr. Freeman's biography and bask in the wonder of his peformances over many years. I now find myself totally inadquate to describe Mr. Freeman's contribution to the world of thespian art. I console myself. for my shortcomings by knowing that I am not alone. Thank you Mr. Freeman. | by Ethel Gallagher I think he is lovely. He is tall and slim and like a willow, which makes him seem very graceful. I like his soft voice and easy manner. He also has a lovely smile. He looks like the sort who is a listener rather than a talker which means he could never be a bore. Keep up the good work Morgan, you look better than ever and should go on an on for years to come - charming the ladies especially! Comment on this... |
