It's a long-shot (Sat Dec 11, 2004 8:22pm ET)report post

Dear Mr. Brooks,
I'm not sure if you read these comments or not, but if you do: I'm an 18 year old high school graduate from Los Angeles. And for a while I've been writing a few comedy screenplays and I'm not sure about how to get them going anywhere. I was just wondering if you could mail me some information, or (here's the long-shot) if you could maybe, probably, possibly consider taking me under your wing as somewhat of an apprentice.

Thank you so much for your time, and I hope to hear from you soon.

OUT TAKES (Mon Nov 29, 2004 3:13pm ET)report post

DEAR MR. BROOKS,
IF YOU GET THIS, DO YOU THINK A TELEVISION SPECIAL OF OUT -TAKES FROM ALL YOUR FILMS WOULD BE DO-ABLE.
MOST OF MY FRIENDS ARE FANS OF YOUR MOVIES AND I'M SURE MANY OTHERS WOULD BE GRATEFUL IF AN OUT-TAKE SPECIAL WOULD BE GREAT.
I DO NOT KNOW THE "HOLLYWOOD COST", TO PRODUCE IT,BUT WOULD GLADELY SEE IT ON "PAY PER VIEW".
SINCERELY,
T.J. WESLOH

Biggest Mel Brooks Fan (Tue Jun 15, 2004 10:13pm ET)report post
by Joshua Ostrander
I've seen all of Mel Brooks movies and listened to his recordings of the 2000 year old man and the 2000 year old man in the year 2000. I've also read the book the 2000 year old man in the year 2000. It was so good I read it in about an hour.
And yes I think that line is from History of the World Part I.
I think from the French Revolution Part.
Be a little more specific.
