| by Daniel Drummond My name is Daniel Drummond. I am a recently retired teacher from Indiana. I just watched the Mini-Documentary of the movie Rio Grande. It spurred me to do something I should of done a long time ago. Mrs. O'Hara I want to thank you for your body of work through the years. I cut my eye teeth on watching your movies. My life has been deeply impacted by you. When I looked for a wife she had to be in your mold. Much of my feelings about love and how a person should treat someone they love, came from you. I was very blessed to marry a beuatiful redhead who has a very spirited personality much like you protrayed in your movies. She blessed me with two wonderful sons who both are contributing to society as teachers like their father. The devotion you exhibited for your family in the movies I have tried to immulate. I wish you the best on your 87th birthday. Know this, I love you for how you shaped my life in so many ways and wish you many, many more happy years. I am probably not the only one who has expressed these feelings but I feel compelled to share these thoughts with you. God Bless you and keep you the rest of your days. Much LOVE, Daniel Drummond. | by diane panfil Maureen O'Hara will always be my favorite actress. She should have received an Academy Award many times over, especially for her work in The Quiet Man. She has given many people more than just pleasurable times watching her acting, but she has been an example of how to live. Comment on this... |

| by Shawn Prescott I wonder if somehow you could get this e-mail to Maureen O'Hara. I just heard the interview with her and Diane Rehm, but could not get through. I am from Dublin like her, and knew the family quite well especially her brother Jimmy. He left Dublin ( we are told to join her in Hollywood about 1953), and we never heard from him again. I now live in Baltimore (USA), and would love to know if he is still in this world, and if possible contac t him. Maureen would know I am sure the answers. My e-mail is above my tel number is 410.526.0573 Hope to get some reply, thank you Dr. Shawn Prescott Comment on this... | ||||
