Plot Summary:
The world is very different to the one we knew. Network-television is under the control of a totalrilian society, which requires auidences to anticapte in watching TV to boost the ratings.
It's illegal to turn off you're tv-set and those who break the law are sentenced to cryogenic imprisonment, until the government decides you're punishment.
Jill Havers is the wife of San Fransico police L.t Randy Havers and mother of young David. Jill becomes concerned about her son, whom has become a couch potato and he believes television is more important than food, due to the government.
Jill begins to question the system, when she breaks the law and turns off the TV-set.
As of consequence, Jill is caught by Randy, whom has no choice but to arrest his own wife.
Jill is prosecuted and like all those who break the law, is cryogenically frozen.
22-years later Jill is revived.
Things become a lot worse for Jill, when she meets Charles Holmes, Controller of Network 23, a tv-channel which broadcasts highly-rated television programs.
The Government has requested that Jill is to appear on "DEATH-WATCH".
A gameshow where convicted felons are given the chance to run for freedom, whilst being hunted down by government assassins.
In order to ensure Jill takes part in "DEATH-WATCH". The Government is holding David in their custody.
In "DEATH-WATCH", the rules are simple. "You are given til morning to stay alive".
Joined by Evelyn Stern, a woman whom herself is forced to anticapte in "DEATH-WATCH".
Jill and Evelyn are cruelly hunted down by government assassins, led by Champion assassin, Moloch in the dark and dangerous playground of Los Angeles.
Where Jill decides she must get to David, perfectly unaware, he has been ejected with a small but powerful explosive that has been programmed to kill-him, if Jill doesn't make it until morning.
