| by Rena Gammon Like Chip, I too saw Rebekah in the film Ruby Jean and Joe. I think we must've seen it at the same time. It came on CMT, Country Music Television, at about 2pm and it was my first time ever seeing it. Although I've never heard any of her music albums or seen any other movies she acted in, I thought Rebekah's performance was pretty good. I also happen to like Tom Selleck who acted as Joe. The movie was about making difficult decisions and stumbling upon unexpectant true friendship. When you have someone who cares for you to help you make your decisons, they're much more easier to make. The movie was really touching. Also being a young Christian African American woman, who's pushing 21 on March 4, I'm too facing decisons such as Ruby Jean about going away to college. I am already a student in a junior college which is limited in their art programs, so I want to move on and go to a 4yr college, which is Northern Illinois University. I do have to admit that going away will be great for me and will be the first time away from my Pastoring parents, but on the other hand its a tid bit like walking into the unknown. But I'm one of those kind of people that blends well in any environment and that get along with anybody, no matter what or who they are. Like Ruby, I also possess an innocence that is out right noticeable, that I just can't hide. But I'm happy about that. That no matter what goes on in the world or around me I can still walk in love, peace, gentleness and kindness, while making friends and helping others to see things in a better light. Well I hope Rebekah Johnson keeps soaring in both her music and acting career. God Bless Her  Comment on this... |

| by Robert Clark Jr. I've never seen an actress as beautiful. I just watched Liberty Heights and i loved her performance. Never before have i seen an actress that has had an affect like this on me. I haven't seen her other films but i hopefully will soon. Comment on this... |
