Spock is and was for me the most interesting character
on Star Treck. All the others were just people with very normal
human personalities. But Spock was different and interesting to watch.
Without Spock the entire Star Treck series would not have been
a tiny bit as interesting as it was with Spock.
The Vulcan greeting, the logical unemotional behavior, the lifted eye brow became household gestures to young and old.
I can't imagine anyone other than Leonard Nimoy in the role of Spock. It's impossible.
While most of the other characters are forgetable or replacable, Spock is to this day an Iconic legend making Star Treck THE Cult series by far. Leonard Nimoy thanks for the fantastic performance of an alien different from the human race.

AND the amazing nerve grip on the neck. That was a genius invention.

well I think that Spock is the coolest guy ever. and when somebody asks him to teach them how to do the vulcan shuttle with their hand all he got to do is to show them how to do the vulcan shuttle and that is why he is the coolest guy ever.
