Lance Henriksen Hits the Target With A Bullseye in Hard Target (Thu Apr 6, 2006 10:57pm ET)report post
by lafemmenikita07
Lance Henriksen to the rescue in this one! If it weren’t for Lance Henriksen's portrayal of Emil Fouchon and the numerous action scenes in this movie it would not have been worth the "watch". I must admit, I am a Van Damme fan because of his action scenes. They excite me! However, it was the performance of Lance Henriksen that causes the excitement in this movie. This movie displayed one of the more enjoyable performances of Lance Henriksen's range and depth of artistry of a colorful yet somewhat dark character in such a manner that you can't help but like the bad guy. "Hard Target" stars Jean-Claude Van Damme with John Woo directing. It also stars Yancy Butler, whom I have enjoyed watching in some of her other projects especially the television series, "Witchblade". I may have started watching the movie to see Van Damme's fighting scenes; however, I ended up being swept away with the command performance of the colorful character of Emil Fouchon played by Lance Henriksen. In my opinion, Lance's performance along with the various types of action scenes made the film entertaining.

Jane Henriksen Help Me Meet and Interview Lance Henriksen (Thu Apr 6, 2006 10:55pm ET)report post
by lafemmenikita07
I am a huge fan and admirer of the Alien Trilogy, Terminator, and especially actor/artist Lance Henriksen. I would like to meet this American Icon Lance Henriksen and share with him the things his significantly loyal fans and admirers want to say and ask. Artistry is to be shared with others whether it is through film and/or pottery. I have read most articles and listened to recorded interviews regarding Lance Henriksen done by fans and admirers. Using fans and admirers are some of best ways to spread the word about almost anything. Often I find myself laughing and really enjoying the experiences of the fans and admirers' experiences with meeting Lance Henriksen and/or watching films he has participated in. This is a great way of getting the attention of movie studios that are hesitant about a project or actor. It is like winning an election or getting a bill passed. The voice of the people has economic power! This works because the fans and admirers are so "real" about their likes and dislikes and are more believable because what they do is not to "make a living". It is done as a hobby and/or to obtain enjoyment. Maybe Lances' many fans and admirers can get Millennium back.

If you have met Lance Henriksen the Person tell me about it? (Thu Apr 6, 2006 10:54pm ET)report post
by lafemmenikita07
I have read so much about Lance Henriksen the person being such a nice guy from fans and admirers that claim to have met him? After, I watched the movie "Lost Voyage" I wondered if Lance Henriksen is anything like the character, David Shaw, Lance Henriksen played in that movie. David Shaw was not a nice person. Those of you that have worked with Lance Henriksen and/or met him please comment on it. I really need to know if the actor I admire so much is a nice person when not acting. Check out my threads on Lance Henriksen at Livejournal, Lafemmenikita07.

What do you think of the businesses selling Celebrity Addresses? (Thu Apr 6, 2006 10:51pm ET)report post
by lafemmenikita07
I do not trust those businesses on the internet claiming to provide celebrity addresses if you pay a fee. I think they order signed autographs of selected celebrities in bulk and resale them to true fans like you all. Please tell me what you think especially if you are or know a celebrity. Check out my threads at Livejournal, Lafemmenikita07. Love to hear from you!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Child Fan of Disney's Tarzan Sent Lance Henriksen A Birthday Card (Thu Apr 6, 2006 10:49pm ET)report post
by lafemmenikita07
Lance Henriksen's birthday is May 5, 2006. I sent 3 Birthday Cards to Lance Henriksen at 3 different addresses. One of the cards was from my 9 year old daughter with a lavender monkey because of his voice over in Disney's Tarzan movies. Therefore, I will not know which address was good. Therefore, from a security standpoint it is safe for Lance Henriksen to let me know if he received at least one of the birthday cards. Lance Henriksen take the time to acknowledge whether you received the birthday cards at least the one from my daughter. As you know, my daughter can not watch any of your other movies you participated in.

Lance Henriksen Should Consider Teaching (Thu Apr 6, 2006 10:47pm ET)report post
by lafemmenikita07

I wish Lance Henriksen gave acting lessons or opened an acting school. However, Lance is pretty business. Lance Henriksen worked on at least 5 movies last year, attended conventions, and other related ventures. Lance Henriksen enjoys working. Remember Lance Henriksen's quote (paraphrased): How can someone consider themselves an actor if they are not acting. You gotta work. This is not the exact quote. However, I think you get my point.

Lance Henriksen - A Generational Actor (Wed Mar 8, 2006 5:32pm ET)report post
by lafemmenikita
Lance Henriksen has been entertaining audiences for over 25 years. He is a "generational actor". He has contributed films during my mother's era, my era, and now my 9-year daughter's era as the voice over actor for Kerchak (Tarzan's adopted gorilla father). My daughter and I enjoyed that movie and have it as part of our collection. I heard that there may be a Tarzan II and Lance may participate in it. Great for Lance! Kid oriented projects survive it seems forever. Also, it is the type of movie that would be cool for Lance's young daughter to watch.
