I was shocked and heartbroken when I heard the news of his death I couldn't believe that he hung himself just because he wasn't getting good reviews, I wanted to see more of his movies. by Holly I've loved him soo much and for so long,I can't measure.It's sad and it's horrible.I think about him everyday since it happened. I feel deeply & terrible for his poor parents. It's something noone should have to go through,EVER! I'm soo glad to see that he was so greatly loved and appriciated(& still is!). I,like so many others,will never forget him. He was such a wonderful,beautiful,talented man & I will always love him. Rest in peace,sweetheart,and know you forever loved and remembered! Comment on this... |

| by courtney i was 4 when i saw my first scary movie it and when i saw bill a.k.a j.b i melted i loved him he is so hot. for 8 years i collected things that had him in it or on it. even if he was in the corner of a magazine or poster or something i'd get and read his article over and over again. i was so crazy about him. if i had 3 wishes they would be ,1 make jonathon brandis my boyfriend and we couldnt break up and we spent the rest of our lives together happily. 2 we're both movie stars and have a lot of money and 2 kids jonathon jr and elizabeth. and if i didnt have 3 wishes and only had one it would be to stop jonathon brandis from ever committing suicide and he lives a happy life and finds the girl of his dreams and they have a wonderful family. - courtney Comment on this... |

| by Casey I was devastated when I found out he had killed himself. I think about him everyday and the fact that he died on my birthday makes me think of him even more on the day I am supposed to be happy. I know that I can't possibly miss him as much as his parents do, but I think that it's pretty close. I don't know why he did it or what he was thinking when he did but I am sure it was for a good reason. Right a "good reason"? He should of talked to some one before ever even thinking about committing suicide. There are so many reasons why people kill themselves but why why he did it is beyond me. I can't say anything else because I don't know what went on in is personal life. He was in such awesome movies and he was such a great actor, and so incredibly sexy. | by The Movie King He started out as a little boy in Fisher-Price toy commericals, grew up starring in movies. Played a high school kid, having a crush on a spoiled-rich girl, on his soon-to-be stepfather's soccer team and ended up joining the team. Played another high school kid, having a rough life, fitting in. But, dreamed of being Chuck Norris. Played a boy genius on a sci-fi series and played in more serious roles and won the hearts of millions of female fans. He created marvelous characters and he will be missed, since he died suddenly!!!!!! Jonathan Gregory Brandis committed the ultimate sin against god; which was suicide. He hung himself in his apartment in California. He was 27 years old. He was the only child in his family. I believe that the reason why he decided to die, was because he felt isolated and he had a very busy childhood, playing in movies and never being able to play with others. He couldn't take the pressure of show business and choose to die, instead of living as a struggling actor. May he rest in peace (R.I.P.). Comment on this... | ||||

| by Candie I would just like to say, I am truly sickened by the loss of such a beautiful person. I did not find out that sweet Jon was gone until I looked at the TV guide for Remembering 2003, or something like that. I was devastated. He was my first celebrity crush. The first to wall paper my room. Even now, I carry a pic I downloaded off the net of him, in my wallet, next to my son's pic, as a constant reminder of a life lost too soon. I have loved Jonathan for what seems like an eternity, and will continue this love until I exit this flesh shell, and am a free spirit. Only then will I truly understand why he took his life. Tonight I just got on the Internet to look up some recent pictures of him and I found out that he had died by committing suicide. He was a cute kid and a very talented acter and he will always be remembered, but never forgotten. I don't know why such a good-natured young man had to complete the ultimate sin against god. He had his whole life a head of him. His movies, will always be with us. The Never Ending story: The Next Chapter, Ladybugs, Sidekicks, Stephen King's It, Her Last Chance, Outside Provinces, Two Came Back, and Fall into Darkness. May he rest in peace.
