One of Amelia's most notable roles was in Steven Soderbergh's The Limey, where she starred opposite Terence Stamp and Peter Fonda. Heinle has co-starred opposite Flea (The Big Lebowski) and Richard Tyson (Kindergarten Cop) in the independent feature film Liar's Poker as well as in Tradewinds with Minnie Driver and Rufus Sewell. The actress can also be seen in the hit video I Will Buy You a New Life by the popular modern rock band Everclear. Most recently she has starred alongside Dan Aykroyd in the sci-fi thriller Earth vs. Spider.
