| by mike With most americans now coming out against the war. Lange's views against the war may have been prescient. It appears as though america should never have gone into Iraq and it appears as though the Bush administration has bungled foreign policy. I am sure it is hard for some people with people dying and loosing their lives to forgive Lange her comments. However, with so little opposition going into the war, I think Lange was right to speak against the war but she was probably ill advised to say some of the things she did publically. Lange is a great actress... and I hope people who were upset by her views can get past it. Many other public people probably shared those views at some point, the frustration at what this administration is doing, but they didn't speak publically. I don't know whether that is a lack of courage on their part or whether it was wisdom. I suspect jessica lange harmed her career ... and for this I am sorry. She is one of the few artists in america who has something to say. Comment on this... |

| by tom delvaux i've been changed since i saw the performance of ms lange in the movie Frances. It was disturbing to say the least. Next to ms Spacek, Streep and oh surprise Stockard Channing, Jessica Lange is one of the most talented actresses today. I hope to see in her in many more films to come. | by George Theron Jessica is a fine actress no dought about but her political views anger me. She needs to stop fighting Bush and stick to her acting talents. I'm not going to be brainwashed by her personal opinions just because I like her acting. Its not her role to just rally a mob together that hate Bush. Shes an actress not a polition. She should just respect other people thoughts on politics and keep her views private. Comment on this... |

| by Jordan Marks Jessica, you are a fine actress. I have a lot of respect for your acting ability and your spirit. I like the fact how you didn't give up after your mocked preformance in 'King Kong'. Thats what I really admire about you. You were brilliant in 'Postman Rings', 'Frances', 'Country', 'Tootsie', & of course 'Blue Sky'. You really touched me in that film. I really forgave your characters mistakes and that is hard to do in front of an audience. I love your tender soft voice you put into every role, its what really attracts me to your preformances. That and your beauty. You are a very beautiful woman who has a sexuality so unique you don't to take your clothes off to steam up a scene. Keep up the good work. Comment on this... |

| by dave Lange is a marvel. She is one of the few artists whose work has made me feel something and think about things in a long time. I am not an especially good person. But I think I am little better for seeing her work. She made me believe again a little bit in human beings and look at women in a different light. As far as her politics is concerned she is certainly entitled to her views. They are not mine. Nevertheless, I don't like the way people who have spoken out against this war have been treated - it has been shabby. It seems to me they have been quite brave with all the criticism they have gotten. They are entitled to their views as Americans. And who knows, perhaps they are on the right side of this thing. I voted for Bush but he is beginning to concern me. I see many people out of work in my home town, there is not enough housing, we have a war with no end, the terrorism threat is increasing, and we have a world community hostile to the united states. What was the plan again - oh yeah, to make the world safer. Comment on this... |
