RE: "The Forgotten" (Wed Oct 7, 2009 12:16am ET)report post

Love the show, BUT Walter, for a guy from Chicago, is too articulate! In tonight's episode (about the murdered pro football player) he pronounced "They" correctly. In Chicago there is no "TH"
sound. It's a "D", like "Day" NOT "they", or "Dose Guys" NOT "Those Guys!"

I might live in Greenville, SC but I grew up on Chicago's South Side.

I do a lot of public speaking, teaching & preaching & collect regional dialect phrases, like the classic Chicago one:
"JEET JET? NO. JEW?"

TRANSLATION:
"Did you eat yet?"
"No. Did you?"

Just nit-picking! Love your work.

Episode: Secrets and Flies
Mr. Bruckheimer, Marge Helberger, who plays Catherine Willows, makes a statement referencing the Catholic Church regarding their view on when life begins, as per the Pope in the 16th Century. What she said was incorrect you retarded idiot. Get your facts correct Mr. Bruckheimer !!! Life begins from the moment of conception and that is the truth and the views of the Catholic Church.

Episode: Secrets and Flies,

And now I just heard Grisom saying that life begins in the flesh saying that life begins 18 days after conception. You idiot Mr. Bruckheimer. Stop ruining a good show without your retarded comments!!! You need to learn the truth and stop spreading lies! Life begins at conception.

For movie making consideration (Sun Feb 1, 2009 3:39pm ET)report post

Suggested potential blockbuster movies, a really good trilogy, can be had from Kenyon's best selling Dark Hunter novels, primarily #2-8. Got it all -- action, speed, vampires, immortals, special effects, romance, gothic, Greek gods, goddesses, Atlantis, good vs bad, set in New Orleans modern day. Author has annual DH Convention there. Huge following. Could blow everything else out of the water!

Something Different (Thu Jan 8, 2009 3:43pm ET)report post
by Rooshie
ATTENTION: Mr. Jerry Bruckheimer

I love your PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN movies..especially Captain Jack Sparrow as portrayed by actor Johnny Depp - who DOESN'T love Captain Jack Sparrow?! Your CSI shows are well done..or were until CSI's main characters started being written off, but those CSI shows leave me feeling depressed. Have you ever made a biography-like theater movie about a one-of-a-kind real-life celebrity? As a suggestion I have two words: RAY STEVENS. His real name is Harold Ray Ragsdale, and he is well-known and famous for his unique country-style comics, novelty comedy songs (such as "The Streak"; "The Shriner's Convention"; "It's Me Again, Margaret"; "Can He Love You Half As Much As I"; "The Pirate Song"; "Gitarzan"; and "I Saw Elvis in a UFO") and for his delightfully lively "to dance to" country-style arrangement of the age-old love song "Misty". You can look up Ray Stevens on the internet and find lists of his music CD's and comedy DVD's..try to find RAY STEVENS LIVE (1994). If you can get Mr. Stevens' permission (and can find a suitable actor to portray Mr. Stevens), a movie about him ..that features his live show and telecast comedy antics and novelty comedy songs..would be most uniquely entertaining diversion.

ATTN: Mr. Bruckheimer: (Mon Feb 23, 2009 7:56pm ET)report post

About singer-songwriter-producer-pianist-comedian Ray Stevens..his one singular talent that made him famous and "America's favorite musical funnyman" is his way of setting unusual characters and stories (usually humorous and based on realistic life situations) and rib-tickling humor to songs and music. Not all of his music is of the Country & Western persuasion. Some of his songs are of the 1950's pop-rock persuasion; some have a 1940's Swing-Band and Boogie-Woogie air to them; and others are Easy Listening. Though some of his songs are serious, most of them are extremely humorous novelty comedy songs. Ray has many "Greatest Hits" collections; and among the best is his three-CD disc RAY STEVENS BOX SET. It's AWESOME! It definitely deserves a five-star rating! This is some of the best popular, easy listening and country music I've heard. As for Ray's novelty comedy songs, let's just say that the only way that one can possibly die from listening to them is LOL..laughing out loud, that is! I can't remember when I've laughed so hard! Among the best songs in the BOX SET are: 1. HUMOROUS: "Erik the Awful"; "The Pirate Song"; "The Cat Song"; "Kitty-Cat's Revenge"; "The Dog Song"; "When the Kids Are Gone"; "Jeremiah Peabody's Polyunsaturated Quick-Dissolving Fast-Acting Pleasant-Tasting Green and Purple Pills"; "Freddy Feelgood's Funky Little Five Piece Band"; "Woogie Boogie"; "Freudian Slip"; "Too Drunk to Fish"; "Virgil and the Moonshot"; "Hang Up and Drive"; "Driver's Education"; "Power Tools"; "Blue Cyclone"; "The Haircut Song"; "Bridget the Midget"; "Shriner's Convention"; "The Streak"; "It's Me Again, Margaret"; "Mississippi Squirrel Revival"; "Ahab the Arab"; and "Gitarzan"; and 2. SERIOUS: "Boogie Woogie" (unlike the humorous "Woogie Boogie", the one entitled "Boogie Woogie" is purely instrumental, and it features Ray playing the piano); "Misty"; "Nashville"; "Everything Is Beautiful"; "Let's Roll"; and Ray's patriotic ballad entitled "Thank You". Though not included in his BOX SET, Ray's other songs include the following humorous songs: "Can He Love You Half As Much As I"; "I Saw Elvis in a UFO"; "Sex Symbols"; "Secret Agent Man (Information Man)"; "You Gotta Have A Hat"; "Motel Song"; "Teenaged Mutant Kung-Fu Chickens"; "Used Cars"; "Tabloid News"; "Blue Haired Lady"; and "Summer Family Vacation"; and the following other serious songs: "Mr. Businessman" and "Can We Get to That?". As you know, the musical comedy movie "MAMMA MIA" contains songs by the 1970's pop group ABBA. Trust me when I say that, though it probably will never happen, all of the above-mentioned Ray Stevens music and songs are more than good enough to make another musical comedy movie with (that is, with Ray Stevens' permission and his help; perhaps a good name for this musical comedy movie..if it ever came to fruition..would be simply "It's Me Again"). Actor Johnny Depp once mentioned that he wanted to..in a movie..portray a singer/musician. A good challenge for him would be for him to portray Ray Stevens!

To sample some of Ray Stevens songs, log onto www.susie1114.com; go into her RAY STEVENS SONG category; click on and listen to some of Ray's songs (while reading the lyrics). I always go to the RAY STEVENS SONG category in this website when I'm in the mood for a laugh. Also, the susie1114.com webmaster says that from time to time she'll add on more Ray Stevens songs.

Dear Mr. Bruckheimer, I LOVE CSI: Crime Scene Investigation sooooo much. It is an AMAZING show that I have grown to love over time as I watched it with my mother. I have even caught a crush on the adorable Eric Szmanda. However, I am absolutely DEVASTATED about the choice of Gary Dourdan leaving. To my surprise Jorja Fox had left last season! And NOW William Peterson is going to leave?! It's not the same even if he comes back *time-to-time* he shouldn't leave AT ALL! These *happenings* are RUINING the show! It will never be the same again! YOu should find a way to bring everyone back. I miss them Sad !
