James LeGros

James LeGros has moved easily between leading man and character roles. Now, the versatile actor, known for his compelling portrayals of burn-outs and bank robbers, eccentrics and egomaniacs, steps into the role of Ally McBeal's quirky Mark Albert.

James LeGros' film credits include Point Break, Drugstore Cowboy, Born on the Fourth of July, Singles, Where the Day Takes You, Mrs. Parker and the Vicious Circle, Bad Girls, Safe, Gus Van Sant's Psycho, The Myth of Fingerprints, and Enemy of the State.

Some of his more notable roles include a lauded tour-de-force performance in 1994's Floundering, and his portrayal of a dimwitted star in Living in Oblivion. Television viewers may also remember him from his recurring role as a doctor and recovering heroin addict on ER.

Most recently, LeGros starred in Drop Back Ten which premiered at this year's Sundance Film Festival. He can currently be seen in the Showtime Film, On Common Ground.

LeGros lives in Los Angeles with his wife and their two sons.
