| by sevag Jaclyn Smith is one of the world's most accomplished women. For more than three decades, she has held the public's interest as an award winning Actress, Designer, and Role Model. She manages her life and legendary career with grace and style. Despite her many accomplishments, Jaclyn's first priorities are her family. Being a daughter, mother, and wife continue to be the most important elements of her life. A native of Houston, Texas, Jaclyn studied ballet from the age of three. In 1976, Jaclyn starred as Kelly Garrett on "Charlie's Angels." She was the only Actor to continue with the series for its entire network run. Following "Charlie's Angels," Jaclyn proved to be a most compelling actress with her critically acclaimed work in "Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy"--one of the most highly rated telefilms of all time. She co-starred in "George Washington" as Sally Fairfax. One of her favorite roles was the title character in "Florence Nightingale." Jaclyn is frequently called the "Queen of Mini-Series." Her successful accomplishments in that genre include Sidney Sheldon's "Rage of Angels," "Rage of Angels: The Story Continues," and "Windmills of the Gods"; Robert Ludlum's "The Bourne Identity"; and Danielle Steele's "Kaleidoscope" and "Family Album." Her successful telefilms and appearances are numerous and for her accomplishments in that medium she has received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and a Golden Globe nomination. Jaclyn currently co-stars as "Vanessa Cavanaugh" on "The District" for CBS Television. She reprises her role as "Kelly Garrett" from the hit television series "Charlie's Angels" in the film adaptation sequel "Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle" this summer. In 1985, Jaclyn pioneered the concept of famous people developing their own Brands rather than merely endorsing others. Today, Jaclyn Smith is acknowledged by the Women's Wear Daily 100 as the 68th most popular Brand in America. Outpacing such other designers as Yves Saint Laurent, Halston, and DKNY. Jaclyn is often called a working women's Chanel. Over 100 million women have purchased Jaclyn Smith products. The marketing research firm of Kurt Salmon Associates reports her Brand as #1 in its category. Last year, Jaclyn launched a home furnishings collection that has become one of America's best sellers. "I've been very fortunate," says the woman who has been named one of the 50 Most Beautiful People In The World by People Magazine on two separate occasions. "My work has always been very exciting and interesting, but to me, my family must come first. I have no regrets." In 2002, Jaclyn partnered with Largo Inc., an importer of bedroom and dining furniture, to unveil the Jaclyn Smith Home Collection. In the same year, a licensing agreement with Art & Frame Direct, a global manufacturer and distributor of specialty furnishings & accessories, was reached to produce her exclusive line of decorative accessories to complement her home furnishings. Jaclyn's philanthropic efforts are respected worldwide because of her devoted energy for numerous organizations including, the American Heart Association, and her fight against cancer for women and children. She is the permanent chairperson for Ability First of Southern California. Jaclyn Smith is married to Dr. Bradley Allen, a leading pediatric cardio-thoracic surgeon. Her son is Gaston-Anthony and her daughter is Spencer-Margaret. The family resides in Southern California. Jaclyn Smith's business interests are represented exclusively by Sterling/Winters Company.
