I give total respect to Ian McKellen. He is an excellent actor. I love his role in XMen. He has eloquence, all the way. He seems to be a great leader, and that's why I repsect him.

Iam from germany and Iam visit Sir Ian life on stage
"Aladdin" in London.

It was fantastic !!! It was so great. This day I will ever have it in my heart. To sitting in the first row seat 16.
This was the best theatre I saw...
Thank you Ian thank you all other actors and actress they played by Aladdin...

Hmm - OK, so this appears to have turned into some kind of debate on homosexuality - never mind!! I think Sir Ian is fab! Anyone who hasn't seen the Ian McKellen Judi ench Macbeth must go and see it imeadiatly as it is fabulous!! Gods and Monsters also damned good! Saying nothing about LotR except *cough* only good thing about it *cough* anyhoo this man is a genious and a ledgend - that is all!!

Sir Ian Mckellen is a great guy and he is good actor. So what if he gay the best actors are gay and some are in the closet and not being them selfs. I am gay and I am proud to gay and glad I got someone I can look up to in the film world. So Sir Mckellen carry on what you do.

Sir Ian is a great no the greatest actor for me...
I love him he is without word...
And it is not terrible to be gay... Iam heteriosexuell but sometime I wish I was a gay man ;0)

I think he's a rubbish actor but really sexy. I've got posters of him all over my wall and I kiss them good night and have dirty dreams about him every night. Even though he is gorgeous I think he is a rubbish and terrible actor. Who dosen't deserve to act in any good films like Lord of the Rings.

holly, i highly recommend that you go to the mel gibson forum to talk about gay rights (or lack of gay rights). you will find that many of the people there agree with you and fully back up their opinion with a two page essay.

I very like LOTR. When I look LOTR it is like you will be there. It is so reality. I have lots of fantasy and If I think about the lord of the ring and read the three books I think in the past was realy.
JRR Tolkin was a realy realy great and fantasy writer. And I think it is the greatest autor of all writer.

Sorry but gay people are really scary. God designed a man and a woman to desire each other, not two men or two women. You don't see animals breeding with the same sex do you? And if this ever happened there would be something wrong with their hormones.
Milailee what the hell are you talking about? It's called English boy! Get a spell check or something. Anyway Ian Mckellen is a good actor but gay people are just wrong.

Hey Holly,
At first. I would like to say. Its Ok it is your opinion.

My opinion is:
that we are Humans not animals. And I can not said what feeling a homosexual human. Wy he or she doesnt love the other sex. But I think that is the feeling of this person and we should exept this. It is difficult for us to understand this. But I exept this persons and have no problem with them. And it is not a illness or what people think about this homo-peoples. (Oh and it give animals homos ;o)
for example budgies (lol) little fun... ;0)
And I find it very offensive from D. Godmann to say this to Sir Ian Mckellen. Because it is his life and this work to say bad only because heŽs gay. Sorry that is very stupit. Realy... :0(

Um I could hardly understand what you wrote but anyway. Im not saying humans are animals! I just don't understand gay people. But even though god said its wrong he must have expected it so hmmm...

to the animals:
but you said that animals areŽnt homos. And ?? what have it do with us humans ? right we are not animals...
And now to god. I dont know if it give a god. And if it would be give god they dont would say that we dont be homosexuell. Because every human is an individuum an not a machine of god. I have an other belief like you. Sorry ... But I think that every human can have a meaning. There for I will tolerate your opinion and I understand your opinion because of your belief or attitude.
But I cant understand the opinion of the other person (Goodman) Sorry but I cant.

He should not have been choosen to play gandalf or in any other movies. I don't like all these acters who are gay!! There really should be a law against homosexual acters and actresses. I don't know what will become of all these homosexual movie stars, if they keep actting in movies. Hollywood should just keep their movies straight. The Lord of the Rings, would have been better off without you McKellen!!!!

I think you have a problem with you and not that any actor or actress is homosexuell. Because IT IS NOT IMPORTANT THE SEXUALITY BUT THE WORK OF THIS ACTORS AND ACTRESS IS IMPORTENT. That make a world good actor LIKE SIR IAN MCKELLEN and not that he is gay... You are not a good observer. Realy not.

And now to you S. Ian Mckellen. Please dont take this to your heart what this little one people talk about you. He have only prejudices to homosexuell humans and is total blind to see an world great actor working. That are you !!! ";o)"

Iam not a lesbian or besexuell but I found it is normal because everybody have any sexuall fantasies. And never talk about this because it is to intimacy. And wy should you and all the other people have not your sexuallity. It is your privat life and your love. Realy I hate some humans for his prejudices. It is like the prejudices with my illness (depression) Iam crasy you know Iam not normal like other people. I must working with this secret because I will not longer have my work. I hate this. ":o("
But You are great realy great as actor. And in December or January I will meet you in theatre London to see ALADIN. Iam lucky to do this. It is a long journey from Germany but If it makes fun it is realy OK.

I understand you. Iam not gay and Iam a girl. But I wish I were a gay man. He is a man with a great heard. And he have the most bluest eyes I saw. Only Terence Hill has more blue eyes. He is normaly not like the most others famouse people so arrogant. He loves Shakesspear. Its fantastic. I found no other worlds for him. everbody must love him. He is realy fantastic and hims boyfriend becomes a very great gay to love. I wish all the best both of them.
One meeting with him. I would be melt.
