Holly FAN!!! (Sun Sep 3, 2006 9:49am ET)report post
by Jordan Marks
Holly Hunter is one of the greatest actresses of her generation. Her finest preformance is 'The Piano'. I absolutly loved that film. It really spoke from the heart. Her big beautiful brown eyes tell the story. They have so much character in them. Absolutly adored her in "Always", "Raising Arizona" & "Copycat". I was not a fan of "Crash" but she held my interest throughout the film. I also love her sweet Southern Jodie Fosterish acsent.
Keep up the good work Miss Hunter

Hello, I am studying a media course at college and my exam is based on women in film. I have chosen to research into Holly Hunter and I thought your comment about her was really nice. I was just wondering if I could ask you a few questions about her for my exam?

Love Holly Hunter (Tue Oct 14, 2003 4:39am ET)report post

but thought "The Piano" was one of the worst movies ever. Really would like to see THIRTEEN but this one horse town (Sioux City, IA) didnt release it here. They didnt show "Secretary" or "Punch Drunk Love" in Sioux City. No wonder Jesse Ventura used to call it Sewer City when he wrestled here. If I wasnt so dumb I would move.

An idea inspired from viewing the documentary, "Searching for Debra Winger". (Sat Aug 23, 2003 3:51am ET)report post
by Jean Himebaugh
Dear Holly Hunter,

I'm not sure if you really read these guestbook entries or not, but by chance you do, I would like to submit an idea for a movie.

I know this sounds corny or even naive - but I was watching HBO the other night and saw Rosanna's Documentary, "Searching for Debra Winger" and it inspired me to joint down this idea for a specific part for any middle-aged actress to play that would be interested.

In a nutshell - it could be a comedy, but I prefer it to be a drama in order to strike a "heart-felt" emotion to the audience and convey a message about how woman they are seen by others and by themselves.

I am sincerely interested in telling this idea to an actress or a director who would take this into consideration seriously. But if this forum doesn't get read by Holly Hunter - I feel really stupid and silly for even taking the time to write this entry.

Please reply if this entry truly appeals to you, with honesty and sincerity.
