Okey, I'm losing it. Wasn't D.H. in the movie whose title now escapes me, but it was a courtroom drama in which he was "asked" by an influential person to defend him in a sexual assalt case. He was in a compromising situation, the judge was a wacko, who played with guns, and at the end of the movie Hoffman blows and reveals to the jury in a tirade starting with, "no your honor, YOU are out of order.............my client is guilty.....and it was a real applause getter.
Help! Was it hoffman, or am I imagining it. There are no titles I can find in his movie listings that ring a bell.
Thanks, Lynne Pesochin

You were great in that movie, your performance was really intriguing, suspenseful, and dramatic.

Regarding todays story of: 'Hoffman accused the Bush administration of "manipulating the grief of the country" after the events of September 11.'

I'm so tired of film stars voicing their political views. Yes, they are talented at acting and yes they are very wealthy, but in every other area of life they are complete idiots and I don’t care what they think.

Sorry, I had to vent.
