Diane Lane Is Underated (Sun Oct 6, 2013 1:04pm ET)report post
by Carl Ramsey
The only woman who could equal her facial beauty , in my opinion, was my late wife. After viewing a couple of her films, she is now my favorite actress. It seems she is extremely under appreciated by many movie fans. She can take on any kind of role and bring it to life. She has that little scar to the side of her right eye that I believe is similar to a beauty mark. The only woman who could equal Smile Big smile Sad

how do you know that, kay! have you ever met her? I don't think so so why don't you get a life and make some sense and then come back on this forum when you have something realistic to say about a person.

NOT Diane Lane (Fri Aug 13, 2004 9:39pm ET)report post
by dpablo
sorry to disappoint all you lot who are under the impression that Diane Lane (the American one) was in The Full Monty - and it seems that no-one can get their facts straight here!!

Contrary to popular beleif (and all the websites giving "Diane Lane filmographies") the American actress Diane Lane had absolutely no contribution to the fantastic British film "The Full Monty".

The actress who played the part of Louise IS called Diane Lane, and is, in fact, from Liverpool, ENGLAND...

I DO WISH that people would do their research before gushing out compliments - as the American Diane Lane gets all the compliments for the film, but wasn't even in it, whereas the British Diane Lane, who WAS in it, gets nothing but a filmography of her American namesake...

It makes me wonder if the American Diane Lane (who - come on - MUST know about this) has actually put the record straight - or does she just enjoy stealing other actors thunder???

Indeed it is not the american one, but a lass called diane grundy. Originally from wigan, Lancs, she moved to liverpool and studied theatre. She eventually changed her name to lane for stage reasons

An idea inspired from viewing the documentary, "Searching for Debra Winger". (Sat Aug 23, 2003 2:53am ET)report post
by Jean Himebaugh
Dear Diane Lane,

I'm not sure if you really read these guestbook entries or not, but by chance you do, I would like to submit an idea for a movie.

I know this sounds corny or even naive - but I was watching HBO the other night and saw Rosanna's Documentary, "Searching for Debra Winger" and it inspired me to joint down this idea for a specific part for any middle-aged actress to play that would be interested.

In a nutshell - it could be a comedy, but I prefer it to be a drama in order to strike a "heart-felt" emotion to the audience and convey a message about how woman they are seen by others and by themselves.

I am sincerely interested in telling this idea to an actress or a director who would take this into consideration seriously. But if this forum doesn't get read by Diane Lane - I feel really stupid and silly for even taking the time to write this entry.

Please reply if this entry truly appeals to you, with honesty and sincerity.

I think Diane is great in everything she has done. I was also pleased to find that she named her daughter after her grandmother who is the sister of my father Chad Ashley Biggs. I have not seen Diane in person since she was 14 months old. I guess I might be just a little biased. Would love to know how to get in touch with her.

Where have I been? Loved her in"Unfaithful. I am curious how she got the scar on her temple? You wonder how an actress could get such a thing. A very cute attractive lady.
