Dianna Durbin was my "pinup" girl during WWII and I had her picture on the inside of my locker door. What a delite when ever I open the door.

What a lovely voice! I have a tape of her songs, which includes SWANEE RIVER, SUNG WITH SUCH DEEP FEELING! SHE HAD SUCH A WIDE RANGE OF TONEAND ALSO COULD SING "POP" SONGS VERY WELL ALSO...
I WOULD SO HAVE LOVED TO HAVE MET HER, WHILST ON MY JOURNEY IN FRANCE! bUT RESPECT HER NEED FOR PRIVACY....HOWEVER..COULD SHE NOT WRITE US AN ANNUAL LETTER? THAT WOULD BE SO WONDERFUL!
