| by michael hall I saw Annie Get Your Gun the other day and thought Betty was wonderful ,so much personality. On the video were scenes with Judy Garland in two musical numbers. She was sick at the time so was not at her best. She was replaced by Betty. However it is my personal opinion that Judy at her best would have been hard pushed to do a better jobb in that particular role Comment on this... |

| by Jim Betty Hutton is one of the most talented artistes that Hollywood ever produced. Nobody has ever come close to matching her performances. It's a shame that she wasn't given more great, non-comedy, numbers to sing because this lady has one really amazing voice. Watch her in "The Miracle of Morgan's Creek" and you'll know that she is a great actress too! She steals the scenes from Fred Astaire when she dances with him in " Let's Dance" and, as if all this weren't enough, she became more and more beautiful over the years. Watch "Somebody Loves Me" and see if you don't agree! Comment on this... |
