She was also a regular on the USA original series Beyond Reality and the SCI FI Channel's first original dramatic series, Mission: Genesis. deBoer is best known for her role as Ensign/Lieutenant Ezri Dax on the seventh and final season of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.
deBoer's film credits include starring roles in Cube (Toronto Film Festival 1997) and the Showtime original film Rated X, opposite Emilio Estevez and Charlie Sheen.
